Her very 1st AVA walk
was enjoyed with her grandparents by her side in Caswell Memorial State Park on October 26. This spectacular event was sponsored by the Delta Tule Trekkers of Manteca, California. Grandparents report that she walked 5 of the 10 kilometers and the remaining distance she enjoyed from a stroller. The proud grandparents say "Thanks for this wonderful organization!"

It's great to see the young kids out on the trail, and I frankly think it surprises the parents just how far they can walk when there are things around to pique their interest. That particular trail has a number of things that will hold the interest of young and old alike.
