Surgeon General Calls on Everyone to Step It Up!
September 9th the US Surgeon General launched an initiative to promote walking (and wheelchair rolling) to fight chronic diseases that account for 70% of deaths among Americans. It calls for everyone to Step It Up! For us Volkssporters that translates into walking more and working at the community level to increase opportunities to walk. You'll hear more about what you can do soon.
